Assistant Professor - Mechatronics, Utah Valley University
/Utah Valley University, located in Orem, UT invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Mechatronics Engineering Technology to begin January 2018. The successful candidate will teach Mechatronics Engineering Technology courses, direct course projects, create innovative instructional materials, and supervise extracurricular activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited institution a Masterâs or PhD in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field. ABD accepted. Knowledge and skill in current instructional theories, strategies, techniques, and discipline content. Evidence of potential for scholarly/creative work consistent with a teaching university.
Ten or more years relevant industry experience.
